A rectangle with one side equal to 25 cm has the same area as a square with a side of 20 cm. Find the length of the second side of the rectangle.

1. Find the area of the square by squaring the side of the square.

20 * 20 = 400 (cm2) square area.

2. Find the length of the second side of the rectangle by dividing the area by the length of the first side.

400/25 = 16 (cm) the length of the second side of the rectangle.

Answer: 16 cm.
