| To find out the pressure created by 30 g of hydrogen, we use the formula: P = m * R * T / (V * MH2).

Const: R – univers. gas constant (R = 8.31 J / (mol * K)); MH2 is the molar mass of hydrogen (MH2 = 2.016 g / mol).

Data: m is the mass of hydrogen (m = 30 g); T – abs. temperature (T = 27 ºС = 300.15 K); V is the volume of the vessel used (V = 83 dm3, in the SI system V = 83 * 10-3 m3).

Let’s perform the calculation: P = m * R * T / (V * MH2) = 30 * 8.31 * 300.15 / (83 * 10-3 * 2.016) ≈ 447.2 * 103 Pa.

Answer: 30 g of hydrogen creates a pressure of 447.2 kPa.
