Dysentery amoeba is a parasitic representative of unicellular organisms that lives in the large intestine of humans and animals. Infection occurs when cysts contained in water, unwashed vegetables and fruits are swallowed on dirty hands. Entering the intestines, the amoeba destroys the mucous membrane and red blood cells. Ulcers form on the walls of the intestines, an infectious disease amebiasis occurs, the main symptom of which is bloody diarrhea.
