Can water boil at temperatures over 100 degrees?

Pure water boils at 100 degrees Celsius. But this conclusion was reached with water that did not dissolve the substance, that is, distilled water.

Tap water on the other hand has many minerals dissolved in it and some solutes that (due to one of the colligative properties of solutions) raise the boiling point. The interaction between charged ions and water means that a little more energy is required to escape from the surface of the water, therefore occurs at a higher temperature.
