Can you pour concentrated sulfuric acid into water?

According to safety regulations, concentrated sulfuric acid not only CAN, but also MUST be poured into the water when it is diluted. On the contrary, pouring water into acid is strictly prohibited. This is due to the fact that the dissolution of acid in water is an exothermic process, i.e. accompanied by a significant release of heat. By adding ACID TO WATER, the released amount of heat will be immediately absorbed by a significant volume of water. When adding water to the acid, the water will instantly boil up, followed by spraying of hot acid in all directions.
