Find the coordinates of the point of intersection of the given lines; if this is not possible, please explain why: y = x + 5 and y = x + 7

Two straight lines are given given by the formulas:

1). y = x + 5;

2). y = x + 7.

There is such a thing as a slope. In simple terms, this is the number that stands near x. In both cases, it is the same = 1. This indicates that we have line segments that are parallel to the OX axis.

Also, the equation has a free term – one that does not contain a variable. It affects the position of the graph on the DT axis. They are just different.

There is a rule if the coefficients are the same, but the free terms are different, then the straight lines are parallel. Consistency never intersect.
