| As we well know from the school geometry course, in order to determine the diameter of a conditional circle, it is enough to use the following formula:
D = 2 * R.
a)
Let us determine what value will equal the diameter of the circle, when it is known from the condition of the problem that its radius is 7 centimeters:
2 * 7 = 14.
Answer: 14 cm.
b)
Let us determine what value will be equal to the diameter of the circle, when it is known from the condition of the problem that its radius is 0.16 cm:
2 * 0.16 = 0.32.
Answer: 0.32 cm.
