The function is linear, the slope is a positive number, which means that the function is increasing along the entire number line, and, accordingly, a larger value of the argument corresponds to a larger value of the function. We get:
ymin = 4 * (-2) – 2 = -10;
ymax = 4 * (2) – 2 = 6.
