In general, most dicotyledonous plants have seeds with an endosperm. However, for example, in the seeds of flax and apple, although there is endosperm, it is small – nutrients are stored mainly in the cotyledons. And in pumpkin and sunflower, there is no endosperm in the seeds at all – reserve substances are completely deposited in the cotyledons.
