How did ancient people differ from animals?

Ancient people differed from animals in that they had a “culture.” They built houses, used primitive tools and were able to communicate with each other, not only passing on some important information, such as the location of food, but also communicating on various mundane topics; in the end, they were able to curb the fire. The ancient people used everything they could find – from sticks with pebbles, making an ax out of them, to animal skins, protecting them from the cold.
