How did the English version of the Reformation differ from the mainland?

If in other European countries the reformation took place “from the bottom up”, then in England, it went on the contrary “from top to bottom”. Henry 8 carried out the reformation by force. He strove to get rid of the influence of the Pope. Thus, a reformation movement soon appeared in England – Anglicanism. On the other hand, in Europe, the reformation movements developed thanks to the ideological leaders-philosophers – Luther, Calvin, Zwingli and other prominent personalities. True, they had one goal – a protest against Catholicism.
