He strove to get rid of the influence of the Pope. Thus, a reformation movement soon appeared in England – Anglicanism. On the other hand, in Europe, the reformation movements developed thanks to the ideological leaders-philosophers – Luther, Calvin, Zwingli and other prominent personalities. True, they had one goal – a protest against Catholicism.
