How to determine the type of movement using a stopwatch and tape measure?

Measure the path that the body travels at regular intervals. If in equal intervals of time, for example, in 1 second, the body travels the same distances, then the movement is uniform; if not the same, but uneven. You can find out specifically what kind of uneven movement is possible by determining the instantaneous speed (for example, if there is a speedometer) at the ends of the time interval, for example, in the 1st and 2nd seconds of movement, and thereby calculating the average acceleration using the formula. If over several measurements of equal time intervals the average acceleration does not change, then the motion is uniformly accelerated; if it changes, then the movement is multi-accelerated.
