How was the Carolingian Renaissance manifested?

The Carolingian Revival is a period of cultural heyday in Western Europe, at the beginning of the 9th century. It was characterized by the rapid development of literature (the opening of the first libraries at monasteries), typography (fonts based on Latin (Carolingian manisculum), the creation of illuminated manuscripts), architecture (the construction of the Palatine chapel in Aachen and the monastery gate in Lorsch), music (the work of Notker Zaiko and Tuotilo) and jurisprudence (“Customary law of all peoples” – the basis of all legal law of the Middle Ages).
