Also, the Egyptians traded on sea vessels. They sailed along the Red Sea to the state of Punt in the territory of modern Eritrea and Somalia. From other countries, the Egyptians brought plants, pigeons, wood (from Lebanon) and minerals such as gold from Nubia.
