In which organelles of a human cell is DNA located?

DNA is deoxyribonucleic acid, which is part of chromosomes and is the custodian of hereditary information. In animal and human cells, the main location of DNA is the nucleus. Before cell division, DNA, and, therefore, chromosomes are doubled, therefore, during cell division, the hereditary information in full passes into the daughter cell. In addition to the nucleus, in animal and human cells, DNA is found in mitochondria, due to which these organelles are able to multiply inside the cell.
