Method for feeding cephalopods.

Cephalopods feed on other animals such as small fish, molluscs, and crabs. Thus, they are classified as predators. Grabbing prey with hooks on the tentacles kill it with poison. Cephalopods have such a narrow esophagus that they cannot swallow pieces of food. These animals have adaptations to solve this problem. These are hard jaws, with which food is crushed, rubbed in the throat and moistened with saliva. This is where proteins are broken down. Then it enters the stomach through the esophagus.
