Similarities and differences between frogs and toads.

The frog and toad are representatives of the same class of vertebrates – amphibians. They are united by the fact that both are born in water and go through the tadpole stage there, and the tadpoles are almost indistinguishable from each other. Both animals are predators, only frogs hunt during the day, and toads – in the evening. Frogs always live near water bodies, and toads can even live in the desert. Toads have dry, brown, bumpy skin, while frogs are usually green, moist, and smooth.
