| The base area of the parallelepiped is 400 m2. Find the volume of this parallelepiped if its height is 3 meters and the base is a square.
Since the base of a parallelepiped is a square, all sides of which are equal, and its area is calculated by the formula:
S = a². Let us express the side if we know that S = 400 m²:
a = √S = √400 = 20 m.
Height “c” = 3 m, we find the volume by the formula:
V = a * b * c = 20 * 20 * 3 = 400 * 3 = 1200 m².
