1. Let’s calculate the length of the segment МН, if СD = 4/3 МН. To do this, divide the length of the CD segment by 4/3:
3 cm: 4/3 = 3 cm * 3/4 = 9/4 cm = 2.25 cm.
2. Let’s calculate the length of МН, if СD = 5/3 МН, for this we also divide the length of СD by 5/3:
3 cm: 5/3 = 3 cm * 3/5 = 9/5 cm = 1.8 cm.
Answer: 1) MH = 2.25 cm; 2) MH = 1.8 cm.
