| You are given an isosceles triangle ABC with base AC; AB = BC;
The middle line DE is equal to half of the base AC, which means that the base
AC = 2 * DE = 2 * 4 = 8 cm;
The perimeter of the triangle is AB + BC + AC = 28; AB + BC = 28 – 8 = 20;
Since AB = BC, the side is 20/2 = 10 cm.
