Then Savsd = AB * AD = 15 cm2. (one)

Ravsd = 2 * (AB + AD) = 32 cm. (2)

Let’s solve the system of equations 1 and 2.

AB = 15 / AD.

2 * (15 / AD + AD) = 32.

AD + 15 / AD = 16.

AD ^ 2 + 15 = 16 * AD.

AD ^ 2 – 16 * AD + 15 = 0.

Let’s solve the quadratic equation.

AD1 = 1 cm.

AD2 = 15 cm.

15> 1, then AD = 15 cm.
