Leukocytes and erythrocytes are structural parts of the blood. In other words, blood cells.

Leukocytes are characterized by:

Colorless cells;
Nuclear cells:
Unstable cell shape;
Life expectancy from several days to several years;
In the blood – one cubic millimeter of it is concentrated from 6 to 8 thousand.

Erythrocytes are characterized by:

Cells are rounded, red, concave in the center on both sides;
They contain hemoglobin, which contains protein (globin) and iron (hemo). One erythrocyte contains 4 hemoglobin molecules;
the density of red blood cells in one cubic millimeter of blood – up to 5 million;
The lifespan is about 120 days.
