What animals are typical inhabitants of the steppe zone?

Most of the animals in the steppe are herbivores.
Let’s start with mammals.
Representatives of herbivores: saiga antelope, steppe bison, bull-tur.
Rodents: gray gopher, jerboa, voles, wild rabbit, marmot.
Insectivores: long-eared hedgehog.
Predators: corsac fox, wild wolf.
The steppe is inhabited by such birds as: the bustard, the gray partridge, the lark, the steppe crane, of the reptiles it is the steppe viper and the yellow-bellied snake.
The prairies are home to bison, coyotes, prairie dogs. Pampas in South America are inhabited by exotic animals: armadillos, anteaters, capybaras.
