What are the differences between Marxism and revisionism?

Revisionism is an offshoot of Marxism. Revisionists believe that socialism can be reached through the development of socialism, or that socialism is generally unattainable and the goal is a kind of “social state”. The rest of the Marxists believe that society needs radical changes, first of all, the elimination of private property. Revisionism is represented by modern social democracy.
