The ancient Greek philosopher Aristotle had his own judgment about slaves. He believed that the entire inventory of the slave owner is divided into two categories: animate tools and inanimate. The slave, in his opinion, has no will of his own. He obey the will of his master. Therefore, he called slaves animated tools of labor.
