This prevalence has become possible due to a number of features: a variety of life forms (grasses, bushes, trees); vegetative organs are different in structure, which helped to adapt to living conditions; well-developed conducting system; pollination by wind, insects, animals; the seed is protected by the fruit; fruits are different in shape, adapted to the dispersal of seeds by water, wind, animals; vegetative reproduction is widespread; in addition to autotrophic feeding, there are also heterotrophs (parasites, semi-parasites, insectivores).
