What happens after all the insects disappear?

This is absolutely impossible, since a catastrophe must happen, which will destroy not only insects, but also hundreds of thousands of species. But still, suppose that this happened and all the insects disappeared. Then the rest of the species will start to die out. It is like falling dominoes. The process is irreversible. Almost all species of animals that were somehow connected in food chains, where insects were, will simply die out. But life will remain on earth. Plants, aquatic life, bacteria, viruses and some species of animals will not feel the disappearance of insects. Although billions of remains and toxic substances from the extinct can harm the survivors.
