What is the difference between a bacterial cell and a plant cell?

A bacterial cell differs from a plant cell in the composition and structure of the cell membrane. In a bacterial cell there is no nucleus separated from the cytoplasm by a membrane. A plant cell has a nucleus. Plastids are characteristic of the plant cell; they are absent in the bacterial cell, although some of them have pigments.
