What is the difference between the way cats and dogs hunt and how is this related to their structure?

Most felines (with the exception of the cheetah) hunt their dobichu by throwing themselves at it from cover. Felines are not able to chase prey for a long time, since they have short legs and they quickly get tired. Dogs, on the other hand, hunt, chasing their prey at long distances, exhausting them. The body of felines, having adapted to this method of hunting, became low, the claws began to hide in their paws so that they sneak up silently. Dogs, on the other hand, have strong and long legs for chasing prey for tens of kilometers.
