We all know what the earth’s surface is. People live on it, run their household and move along it. There is also a scientific definition: the earth’s surface is land and the oceans. The surface of the Earth is very diverse: on it there are many, not similar to each other, areas – oceans, continents, plains and mountains, forests, seas, rivers and lakes. As a result of the interaction of external and internal processes of the Earth, forms of relief of the earth’s surface (mountains, hills, plains, ravines) were formed.
