What nature can be attributed to rocks and minerals?

If we divide nature into living and inanimate, then rocks and minerals should be attributed to inanimate nature. That is, they are not living beings. Some signs are characteristic of living things: growth, development, reproduction, nutrition, movement. These signs are not typical for minerals and rocks. However, living organisms also influenced the origin of rocks. For example, chalk or limestone are the remains of the shells of ancient animals that accumulated after their death, and peat is the compressed remains of marsh moss.
