What peoples were neighbors of the Eastern Slavs?

In the earliest periods of the existence of Russia, the neighbors of the Eastern Slavs were the following tribes and peoples: Volga Bulgars, Khazars, Pechenegs, Bulgarians, Lithuanian tribes, Polish tribes, Varangians, Greeks, Hungarians, etc. Most often, the ancient Slavs fought with the nomads. The rest of the peoples living in the west maintained more peaceful relations with the eastern Slavs, but conflicts also sometimes occurred.
