What qualities did the Spartans bring up in their young citizens? What qualities?

Sparta was one of the most closed, rigid policies. We can say that Sparta acted as the standard of asceticism for the citizens of the policies of Greece. First, it is worth noting that sick, infirm children were not kept in Spartan society – they were thrown off a cliff. The grown-up youths were tempered, they were supposed to have good health. Through a series of tests (hunger, cold), they learned to get their own food, to survive in difficult conditions. The Spartans were taught an aversion to money and wealth, even in Sparta itself, the money was huge, which had to be carried on special separate carts.
