What science studies the nature of the earth’s surface?

Physical geography deals with the study of the nature of the earth’s surface. This science covers the study:

– the waters of the oceans – the hydrographic network of the Earth,

– flora and fauna of our planet and the patterns of their distribution;

– climate and its properties, as well as processes occurring on the earth’s surface associated with climatic features (distribution of temperature and precipitation, natural zones).

Thus, the object of study of physical geography is all natural processes taking place on Earth.
