What traces of medieval times have survived to this day?

The medieval ages lasted long enough. This historical period left behind a lot of architectural, everyday and written evidence. The division into historical stages is not uniform, since the change took place in different civilizations not in the same way. In European countries, there are temples, palaces and sculptures of those times. Elements of the culture of the Middle Ages continue to exist throughout the world. They are kept in museums, private collections, libraries. The works of educators and religious books have survived to this day.
