What were the reasons for the defeat of the uprising of Spartacus?

In 74 BC. there was one of the largest slave uprisings in the entire history of the existence of Rome. The initiator was the Thracian Spartak. As far as we know, Spartacus was a gladiator, and they had to fight constantly. Thus, it can be said that the main reasons for the uprising were:

1) gladiators constantly fought and died, Spartacus wanted to change such a fate and raised a gladiator rebellion;

2) the situation of slaves in Rome was very difficult, which is why thousands of fugitive slaves joined Spartacus in a short period.
