What were the responsibilities of priests, knights and peasants?

The priests had to keep order in the Churches. They baptized, received communion, blessed, accepted confession and forgave sins. But their main activity was worship.

Knights served the king or their liege (if they lived in the lands of some feudal lord). They were the elite of his troops. Not a single campaign or war was complete without knights. They also took part in tournaments.

Peasants usually lived in the lands of the feudal lord. For the piece of land provided to them, they were forced to pay heavy taxes and to cultivate the plots of their master for free.
