A neuron is a nerve cell. By function, neurons are:
– sensitive, which conduct a nerve impulse to the central nervous system, that is, they carry information about irritation;
– motor, on the contrary, conduct a nerve impulse from the central nervous system to the organ, which must respond to this irritation.
If the function of motor neurons is impaired in the hand, then the hand will not be able to move, although it will feel touch, temperature or pain.
