What would you like to learn from Julius Caesar?
From Guy Julius Caesar, you can learn courage and determination. He was a fairly strong military leader. Received some recognition in Rome. He led the troops that controlled large areas of the Gauls. He showed himself brilliantly. But Julius Caesar had great ambitions and one fine time wanted to rule all of Rome. Not all ruling elites dreamed of seeing him as their ruler. Pompey did not want to see him as such. Outcome: The Rubicon was crossed and the die was cast. Caesar seized and appropriated the state treasury. The enemies were defeated and fled. Power was completely in his hands. Even generous food and festivities at the expense of the treasury and personal savings of Caesar did not wash away the bitterness of the loss of the republic, the onset of the autocracy of Guy Julius Caesar. The punishment was brutal. He was killed by the senators. It is interesting to know that many have fought alongside him before, but he has disappointed friends and allies.
