Single leaves (fronds) grow from the bracken rhizome. The leaves are large and hard, complexly pinnately dissected. The leaves are arranged on long fleshy petioles. On the underside of frond, which has blossomed, sporangia are located, where spores develop and then mature (more precisely, spore sori). Disputes are grouped. These groups are located along the edge of the sheet. The folded edge of the frond protects the spore from the external environment.
