Where does respiration occur in plants?

Breathing is the process of gas exchange with the environment: obtaining oxygen and releasing carbon dioxide. If, during the process of photosynthesis, oxygen and organic matter are obtained from water and carbon dioxide, then, on the contrary, organic matter decomposes into water and carbon dioxide.
This process is ongoing in plants. During the day, oxygen enters the plant’s body through the stomata, located leaves and shoots, young roots and lentils located on the stem. At night, the plant uses oxygen obtained during photosynthesis and remaining in its body.
