Why are compressed gases contained in special cylinders?

Compressed gases are contained only in special cylinders, since only in them the gas can withstand pressure. Under pressure, gases do not react with cylinders. The special cylinder also does not pollute the gas. Other cylinders are not suitable for compressed gases and do not fulfill any of the requirements. In addition, compressed gas has a high density and pressure, ordinary cylinders also cannot withstand, unlike special cylinders designed for compressed gas. A simple ordinary balloon may simply not withstand high pressure and explode.
