Why the Earth’s air shell can be called a protective shell.

The Earth’s air envelope is indeed protective. It uses several functions at once. It is very important that the shell protects us from ultraviolet radiation thanks to the ozone ball. Also, the air shell protects us from meteorites and other space debris, which, when entering our atmosphere, is simply destroyed due to friction against the air. Also, thanks to the air shell, we have a comfortable earth temperature, because if it were not for the atmosphere, the earth’s temperature would be very hot during the day and very cold at night.
