# Write down the reaction equations by which you can obtain salts in two ways: a) potassium sulfite b) aluminum nitrate

1) the reaction between potassium hydroxide and sulfur dioxide. Salt is formed in aqueous solution.

2 KOH + SO2 = K2SO3 + H2O

2) the interaction of a solution of potassium carbonate and sulfur dioxide. As a result, carbon dioxide will be released, the salt will remain in solution.

K2CO3 + SO2 = K2SO3 + CO2

Obtaining aluminum nitrate:

1) Interaction of aluminum chloride with silver nitrate. Silver chloride will precipitate, aluminum nitrate will remain in solution.

AlCl3 + 3 AgNO3 = Al (NO3) 3 + 3 AgCl

2) Interaction of aluminum oxide and nitric acid solution. The aluminum nitrate will remain in the aqueous solution.

Al2O3 + 6 HNO3 = 2 Al (NO3) 3 + 3 H2O
