There are only two reactions in the chain:
1) 2СH3-CH2-CH2-CH3 + 5O2 → (cat salt Mn or Co) 4CH3COOH + 2H2O.
This reaction can be found in the preparation of carboxylic acids. This is the oxidation of alkanes.
2) CH3COOH + CH3-CH2-OH = (H2SO4) CH3-COO-CH2CH3 + H2O.
This reaction can be found in the preparation of esters. This is an esterification reaction, i.e. interaction of acid and alcohol.
