What is the difference between feudalism and capitalism?
Under feudalism, the agrarian economy predominates; under capitalism, industry predominates. Under feudalism, there was mainly a subsistence economy, manual labor of dependent peasants predominated. Under capitalism, machines are actively used, and the economy is a commodity, market one. In the feudal economy, there were two main classes, peasants and feudal lords. In the capitalist – the bourgeoisie and the workers (proletariat). Under feudalism, the means of production belong to the feudal lords, and under capitalism, to the bourgeoisie. Under feudalism, exploitation is based on coercion; under capitalism, economic coercion. Under feudalism, there is a very rigid class division, under capitalism there are much more social lifts, the border between classes is more blurred.
