Why does modern man need knowledge about natural communities?

In natural communities, different species of animals and plants exist interconnected, and often the existence of some directly depends on other members of this community. And human activity affects the whole of nature, regardless of where the community is located. So by studying them, people can understand how best to protect them, what negatively affects them, and how to preserve the diversity of species. In addition, we can obtain information about animal behavior and enrich science.
