| The perimeter of any rectangle is
P = 2 * (a + b), where a is the length of the rectangle and b is its width.
We know the length, but we need to find out the width. The formula for the area of a rectangle looks like this:
S = ab.
We know the area. Let us express the width from this formula:
b = S / a.
Find the pool width:
b = 120/15 = 8 m.
Now, knowing the width, you can find the perimeter of the pool. Let’s calculate it:
P = 2 * (15 + 8) = 2 * 23 = 46 m.
Answer: the perimeter of the pool is 46 meters.
