| The heart tissue is represented by muscles and nerve tissue. The muscles provide the strength and constancy of contraction of the chambers of the heart – this ensures a sufficient volume of blood, which is thrown into the vessels. Nerve tissue is represented by the sinus node and pathways. The sinus node is a collection of cells that generate an impulse. Through the conducting fibers, impulses go to all chambers of the heart and, as a result, reach every muscle cell. The sinus node creates an impulse with a frequency of 60-80 per minute, which ensures a normal human pulse.
