Let’s designate brown-eyed – R, and blue-eyed – r. The father’s genotype can be Rr and RR, in both cases the color will be brown. Mother’s genotype – rr. If there is at least one blue child in the offspring, then the father has the Rr genotype. Only in this case can the child get two recessive genes. With this genotype of parents, both brown-eyed and blue-eyed children are possible. In our case, there are only brown-eyed children among the offspring, therefore the father’s genotype is most likely RR, and the children’s genotypes are Rr (R from the father, and r from the mother).
